    Ha ha .. great collection … ;-)

  • http://lukedingle.com Rakuli

Ha! Very nice. I liked both the first and last ones the best although the erupting can was quite amusing also ;)

    Tweeted this for you. Thanks.

These are shopped. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.

    haha
    fantastic!

  • randel

    Shopped

  • Ave

Some of these have been messed with, and it’s easy to see, but I still like them. My favorites were the first and second ones.

  • Michael Daniels

These are so much fun. I love the ballerina and the flower. Sure they’ve been manipulated, either posed or pixelinvented but this is art not photojournalism. Thanks that was fun.

    Nice selection of pictures.

Thank you these are really great. Debbie

  • Sam

    last one is brilliant

  • http://www.davidljungberg.se David

The last one is obviously a photo montage. If the helicopter is in the distant it should be as out of focus as the background, but it's as sharp as the ant in the foreground. Fake fake fake.

  • Makyia

These are dandy, I like the second one.

  • Joseph

Clever imagination used to propel mundane scenes into the realm of the spectacular. WELL DONE!!!

  • kyle

not for nothing, but dont call fake because of focus… the helicopter is not in perfect focus, wich means it could have been captured with a large aperture, say an f-stop of 22, with a short focal length lens, say 14mm… this could lead to both a near and far object both being in relative focus… it could also be accomplished by using a large aperture with a long focal length, say 300mm, which causes an odd compression effect with large apertures creating an apparent shortened distance between foreground and background with all things in focus…

  • MuckRaker

Every photo on here stolen from another site. This set is unimaginative and banal.

all these people who say the pictures are shopped don't know how amazing actual pictures can really become, i'm getting sick of all these people putting down good photos just because they look to good

  • Alexander Wheeler

Really awesome job , they all look amazing

  • Joei

Mike don't feed the Trolls…. Those are all shoped – all pros can tell by the pixel! Google this :)

  • Koming

Everthing is fake on this! Even my comment. I probably don't exist as well and I'm a bot.

  • Bigcitybrightlights

This is pretty cool, fake or not! Someone took the time to makes these so we STUPID HUMANS can enjoy them but over course why would we? We didn't take them nor did we think of the idea.

Thanks for this. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

  • cesarman

    superb work

  • Jjas1107

i agree and even if these are photo shopped there still really fun to look at

  • Steph

I'm not sure why any of these need to be considered “shopped”. It's not as if photography like this is impossible. We see it all the time with every single person that visits the Leaning Tower of Pisa and “holds it up”.

  • Aefe

I think you’re confusing Fstop with shutter speed. Hehe. You fail

  • Photo Calendars

Great shots even with the author just pulled them from other sites.

  • BookWorm

Nothing here was the result of a “happy accident” but each of these photos could have been set up by an accomplished photographer. For those of you children who don't recall a day without Photoshop, this manner of photograph was – while not routine – produced on something called “film”.

Enjoy the art and quit picking on the process.

  • Duhhhh

    penis

  • Cuscus309

Photoshopped or not, the pictures are stunning. And in my opinion they look pretty candid and natural. But if they are photoshopped they did a hell of a job. I loved them

  • Laura

Even if they are shopped it's your opinion keep it to yourself. Some people like to look and think things like these pictures are real. Sorry the rest of us have a real life and are not complete computer geeks like those who “know there stuff” about computers! Don't ruin this for people who like to look at pictures and think..hmmm these are really good.

  • http://embracing-emotions.blogspot.com/ ZeaS

    Wow these pics are awesome!

  • Abc

    F-stop != speed. You fail.

  • Nam

so wat if its photoshopped, the ideas r good and that counts too

  • Austin1123

shopped or not, the pics are cool. so just shut up and enjoy them.

  • Omnomnomagon

Pixels or not, its not hard to do things such as this. With some really good luck, timing, and the perfect angle, you could easily accomplish all of the above!

  • Asympotteell

I don't think ALL are shopped. Maybe they are, but I see no reason to photoshop the bull one.

  • Delray913

its sad when people have to attack a beautiful thing to make them selves feel better about there sheep ish lives.

  • Media Grump

    The perspectives are so neat!

  • Badass_paladin

Sorry, but these are not Photoshopped.

  • Heather

I love every one of these pictures!! They are awesome

  • Bob Fry

I agree the last one is shopped, though not for David’s reasons. It is clearly carefully composed, extremely unlikely to have occurred by fortuitous chance.

  • Comstock Alaina

    idk I just don't get it…

  • KyleB

Some of these images are deff p.shopped, but others are easily recreated with a small attention to detail and some time spent scouting. Some are as simple as how they are posed or croped to look. I would venture to say that the red cup and ant shot could even be done with a small figure of GODZILLA if you wanted too..

  • Roj 5

on my camera it’s shutter speed that freezes action, not the f stop. Is my camera special or something? I only paid 200 dollars for it.

  • Roj 5

well that’s all well and good but where are the real photos of people with lampposts sticking out of their heads and really uninspiring landscapes, and detritus in the foreground? We need to see a lot more of that kind of photo, please! Oh, and people I’ll never meet sitting around a table, or standing holding bottles of beer, like on Facebook. Now THEY are photos! But of course, they’ve been shopped. After all, could anyone in real life look that gormless? Impossible!

that last one is photoshopped. a helicopter that size would be far away and out of focus

  • Ari
  • Debbie J

Who CARES if it's photoshopped or not? The pix are interesting and comical.

  • http://profiles.google.com/wsymington Whitney Symington

Can't you all just take it for what it is? A really cool picture. Shopped or not, they're cool to look at. Get over it.

  • Guest

For example the helicopter in the last picture would would be far more blurred out because of the lens focal point. :)

  • effie leven

“…. blurred out because of the lens focal point.” Huh!? Is that supposed to mean something?

A lens can be stopped down sufficiently to yield Depth of Field deep enough to render cup and helicopter equally sharp. This is not to say the picture in question isn’t faked, simply that there isn’t any need for fakery. And the “focal point” comment is complete nonsense in this context.

    Just enjoy the images asshole.

  • Addor777

You people are dumb. These photos might be more posed, than candid, but that doesn't make it shopped. The horse legs, the can spray, the bull horns, the smoker, the flower at the top. All of these are easily done, and if you aren't able to figure out how to do em, then you're just someone from a backwards civilization. Go back to your disposable camera, while the rest of us use expensive equipment.

  • Mani Naim

the poor cow, he deserves much more!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Will Spence

Who cares if they are shopped or not? They are creative and valid so enjoy them. That's the photographer's goal.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1364120059 June Deng

No. It was taken from farther away and then cropped, so both are relatively clear, although the helicopter is still more blurry than the ant. is still more blurry than the ant.

  • http://twitter.com/spycamera1 Michael Petersen

    Funny

  • http://falmouthphotos.info Falmouth Photos

These are very humorous. I too am wondering how many were not photoshopped.

  • Dazgraphic

    Nice !!

  • Kaylee (pro photographer)

Actually it all depends on what camera you use

  • Kaylee

Some of these are real, some of these are probably photoshopped. But let me put it out there that  even if the photo is photoshopped, it doesn't take away from the fact that the person that came up with the idea is an artistic genius. It's very hard to photoshop an image so that it looks real, take it from me. I've spent weeks photoshopping images and making digital art, and even they don't look as real as most of the above photos.

    Nice pics!

  • Ridvi

guys, all of you, it doesn't matter if something is fake or not. It's still REALLY COOL!!! it's all about the idea, and the creativity of the artist. It didn't matter if picasso used watercolors or colored pencils. so why should it matter whether we use a digital camera, or a computer? they are both mediums that can be used as an expression of art.

    so everyone, just CHILL!!!

  • Tscragg

why is there always some damn fool who says shopped! Every person in the world must own adobe and be an expert at it, after all none of us know how to point a camera let alone what f stop is…

    you’re mom is fake.
    you’re an idiot.

  • Guest

While it is possible to stop a lens down significantly, to yield a Depth of Field where the helicopter and the ant would be similar sizes is near impossible. There is no way that both would be that sharp.

It’s called aperture.  The lower the number the shallower the depth of field.  the higher the aperture the greater the depth of field.  Know your facts before you look stupid.

Ive taken pictures just like these. Its just timing and a creative eye.
You just have to relax and ignore the ignorant.
Its just like on xbox. The people that suck call the ones destroying them hackers or modders or tryhards. When in reality theyre just trying to make up for their suckiness in their own mind.
Anyone who says these are shopped
    A. probably doesnt even own photoshop because the good versions are NOT CHEAP
    B. jealous lazy internet trolls ignorant to good art
    C. Fat… i like that one. just to throw in some spiciness for them to eat up :)

  • http://www.mplonsky.com/photo Mplonsky

I specialize in insect macro.  Effie and Matt are calling the guest’s remarks stupid.  OK.  Everyone is entitled to an opinion.  I say this person that you think is stupid and doesn’t understand DOF or aperture is correct.  To get the ant in focus like that, the DOF would be so thin (even at f32) that the helicopter would be a blur and not recognizable.  You will probably say I am stupid too.  OK.  I will let you judge if I know what I am talking about by my images.  Here are some of my ants - http://www.pbase.com/mplonsky/ants

  • Michellechowning

they're not yours to critisize. just appreciate the art of it.

  • Brooke

Boyfriends a graphic design artist, not a single picture is photoshopped. just good timing and luck.

  • Vince

Interesting. So you compare your macro pics with the one of the ant here? Didn’t look like a macro to me. Perhaps a wide angle has been used – totally different DOF than your macro lenses. And yes, it may be shopped to correct the spherical aberration afterwards, but not necessarily to add the chopper.

Furthermore, you can see that the dark surface behind the cup is much more out of focus than the helicopter. Especially with the helipcopter being a very fast-moving object in low light conditions, there is no way it would would be that defined when the background is obviously out of focus. Guest is not stupid.
